Christmas of Yes ⁞⁞ Christmas 2023

Christmas of Yes was a holiday movie presented by OWN. The story centers on workaholic Amy who unexpectedly loses her job just before Christmas. She is supported by her brother Phil (played by Ian Collins) and his husband Jacques (played by Louis Lay), with whom she shares a home. The siblings are extremely close given the death of their father and their mother's resulting alcoholism. Phil challenges his uptight sister to say yes to anything that comes her way until Christmas. This puts her on a path to romance with the handsome Nico after they cross paths at an improv show. It also puts her on a path to reconciliation with their mother. Meanwhile, Phil leans on Jacques as they move through the process of being considered for an adoption. Phil accidentally reveals their secret adoption plan to Amy at his ugly sweater holiday party and she commends him on taking that step. In the end, the couple surprises their family on Christmas by revealing their adoption of a little girl has been approved. Jeff Pierre stars as Amy's love interest Nico. While he doesn't play a queer character here, he did previously appear as a love interest for Ian on the Showtime series Shameless.
