Swallowed ⁞⁞ Halloween 2023

Written and directed by Carter Smith, Swallowed is a horror thriller centered on Benjamin & Dom, two best friends who embark on a night of partying as they prepare to go their separate ways. What follows is a horrific nightmare when they get involved with drug trafficker Alice and discover the drugs they are carrying in their bodies are actually dangerous creatures, looking to escape. The film features a gay lead in Benjamin (played by out actor Cooper Koch), who must reconcile his fate and his relationship with his best friend Dom (played by Jose Colon), who succumbs to the creature infecting him, leaving Benjamin in a fight to save his own life from the dangerous voyeur Rich (played by out actor Mark Patton), who wants what Benjamin has inside him and has no intention of letting him leave without getting it removed. Benjamin gathers his wits and uses Rich's interest in his body to distract his captor long enough to mount an escape, which later turns to retaliation, as Benjamin takes matters into his own hands to free himself from Rich's grasp, and from the dangerous creature inside his body.
