Couple to Throuple ⁞⁞ Reality TV Spotlight

Couple to Throuple is a new reality series streaming on Peacock. The series takes four established couples to a tropical destination, where they get the opportunity to explore polyamory. Hosted by Emmy-nominated queer television presenter Scott Evans, the couples include one same-sex duo, Ashmal & Rehman, who look to find a third to join their relationship. Ashmal identifies as bisexual while Rehman identifies as someone who will try anything, at least once. Scott soon introduces the four couples to a group of singles, all looking to join a throuple. The couples make their initial decisions, based on the singles' interest in them, and Ashmal & Rehman choose Jonathan. The couples soon realize that throuples are not drama-free and several conflicts ensue after the first choices are made. Scott explains that after a few days, the throuples will get the opportunity to continue to explore and develop their trio, or make a swap and eliminate their new partner in exchange for another of the remaining singles. Episode 4 would introduce a non-binary couple, Maximo & Ash, who would join the series looking to explore opening their relationship to both male and female singles.
