Station 19 (7x1) ⁞⁞ Episode Spotlight


The ABC first responder drama Station 19 is back for its seventh and final season. The premiere picked up after the climactic events of the previous season's finale. Episode 1 included a subplot for the show's gay fire fighter Travis Montgomery (Jay Hayden). He began the episode at home, arriving to his kitchen to find his boyfriend Eli (Rob Heaps), heading off to work. The two shared a kiss, highlighting advancement in their romance into more serious territory. Travis used his day off to pay a visit to the home of Michael Dixon, his former rival in the race for mayor and personal antagonist in his previous relationship with Dixon's son Emmett. After Michael's death in the Season 6 finale, in Travis' arms, Travis looked to pay his respects to Dixon's wife. He got a surprise when he was faced with Emmett (Lachlan Buchanan), revealing he had returned from Italy due to his father's death. The ex-boyfriends discussed Dixon's death and Travis attempted to console Emmett by revealing his estranged father's final words were about Emmett. This led Emmett to break down. In the emotional chaos, the two reconnected with a kiss and more as their clothes came off, leading Travis to cheat on Eli, promising more drama ahead.
