Holiday Mismatch ⁞⁞ Christmas 2024

The Hallmark original Holiday Mismatch reunites Sabrina the Teenage Witch alums Caroline Rhea & Beth Broderick as adversarial mothers, Kath & Barbara, who are brought together to run their small town Holiday Committee. They butt heads immediately but when they discover they have both accidentally set up their children Lauren & Shane to date, they find themselves working together to put an end to the budding romance. Barbara's older son Aidan (Christopher Hayes) works alongside his father (Bruce Dinsmore) at the family real estate business. Aidan and his husband Jeff (Oliver Price) attend all of the holiday festivities organized by the committee and meet Lauren (Maxine Denis) when they go to Shane's Christmas improv theater performance, where his family notices the two's chemistry together, which makes Barbara more uncomfortable. While Aidan helps Shane work through his dilemma over whether to sell his theater, Shane (Jon McLaren) confides in his older brother about the fact that his romance with Lauren is not real and they are only faking it because of their mothers. Aidan attempts to keep his secret. However, it only takes a bit of prodding from Barbara to get him to spill the truth about the ruse. But, it turns out that Lauren & Shane have developed real feelings. The moms realize they have actually become friends in their scheming, and they do their best to set things right, leading to a happy ending for everyone. In the final scene, Aidan & Jeff are shown celebrating Christmas at a family gathering, which now includes Kath & Lauren.
