Meet Me Next Christmas ⁞⁞ Christmas 2024

The Netflix original holiday rom-com Meet Me Next Christmas follows Layla (Christina Milian) as she pursues a fairytale romance with James, after a chance meeting in an airport leads them to promise to reconnect the following Christmas. This leads to a love triangle as she races through New York City looking to secure a ticket to the hottest holiday concert in town, performed by the Grammy-winning a capella group Pentatonix. Playing themselves, the musical quintet consisting of Mitch Grassi, Scott Hoying, Kirstin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola & Matt Sallee co-starred in the film. Queer performers Mitch & Scott joined their fellow group members in New York, preparing for their big performance, while also getting wind of Layla's story and rooting for her to find love, as they wonder if her heart will land on the handsome James or the charming Teddy (Devale Ellis), a hired concierge who helps her on her quest throughout the city. Along the way, Teddy gets a tip from his gay cousin Jordy (Kalen Allen) on how to secure concert tickets. Jordy coaches the duo on their dancing so they can compete in a performance competition. They seem ready for the stage, until they see the biggest competition, in the form of drag queen Priyanka. The winner of Canada's Drag Race season one, Priyanka's performance leads to a victory, and a setback for Layla & Teddy. In the end, though, Pentatonix gets Layla the ticket she needs, in exchange for Teddy playing Santa at the concert. Teddy makes a public heartfelt play for Layla's heart, Pentatonix performs on stage, and Layla makes her decision, ending the film with a kiss on stage.
