My Secret Santa is a Netflix original Christmas movie focused on single mom Taylor (Alexandra Breckenridge), who loses her job just as her daughter gets accepted into an expensive snowboarding camp. Determined to fund her daughter's passion, Taylor looks to secure a job at the ski resort, hoping to take advantage of the employee discount. But when the only job available is that of the holiday Santa Claus, she enlists her gay brother Eric (William C. Vaughan) and his husband Connor (Nathan Kay) to give her a gender-bending Christmas makeover to become the best Santa she can be. William & Connor are established early as masters of makeup and prosthetics. They appear throughout the film, not only helping Taylor with her disguise, but providing counsel and support as she encounters an added challenge due to a potential romance with her new boss Matthew (Ryan Eggold), the rich resort owner's slacker son who is placed in charge of the holiday events for the first time. Matthew & Taylor share a meet-cute while she's out of costume, putting her into a tough position when sparks fly and he invites her to the resorts big holiday event, which will heavily feature Santa. Hoping to help her secure her final holiday paycheck and hopefully love, Eric & Connor step in to join her at the event, helping her to juggle her two personas until things get too chaotic and she is exposed after hearing of her daughter being injured on the ski slopes. In the end, Eric & Connor celebrate Christmas with the family, with Matthew and his father joining them for a happy ending.
