Minute Taker - Losing Self-Control ⁞⁞ Music Spotlight

"Losing Self-Control" is the latest track from Minute Taker, from his upcoming 80s-inspired album The Oblivion. The song is an anthem about the struggle between cultural assimilation and being your true self. The track illustrates that happiness and true love can only be found by losing an imposed self-control. The accompanying music video brings the lyrics to life with a story of forbidden love, told upon the backdrop of a society run by a technological overlord, sentencing the main character to a life of assimilation until he lets go and gives in to the attraction he finds with his co-worker, allowing them to break free of the fictional Big Brother watching over them. The video's lovers are played by the singer/songwriter behind Minute Taker, Ben McGarvey, and his co-star Robert Henry. The music video was directed by Brett De Vos.
