Reloved ⁞⁞ BL Spotlight

The Thai series Reloved tells the story of Akin (Kunavut Jirattikorn) and Thanwa (Paratthakorn Duangawang), two men who experience a whirlwind romance in their youth. Than finds it unexpectedly cut short, though, when Kin breaks things off without reason, cutting Than out of his life. Five years later, Kin is stunned when he arrives at his son Mawin's first day of school only to run into Than, escorting a child of his own. Than is immediately interested in getting close to Kin again, hoping to find answers about why he ghosted him, knowing only that it was because of something Than did in the past. Than has been taking care of his niece Nene since his older brother's death and the young girl is now classmates with Mawin. The kids become fast friends and Than sees that as a way to get closer to Kin, who remains cold, attempting to keep his distance only to be drawn closer due to the kids' friendship. Than takes things further, leasing the apartment across the hall from Kin, further catching his ex off-guard.

Kin splits his time as Mawin's caregiver with his job, working at an advertising agency, which has just secured a major contract with businessman Don (Chotritud Wannaworrawit). Work provides little escape from Than, however, as Kin discovers that Than has just opened a gym in the same office building, along with his business mentor Nat (Rangsit Sirananon). With increasing pressure from Than, Kin tries his best to fight the feelings that Than is convinced they still share for one another, despite the past. Given Kin's secrecy about what caused him to break up with him, Than hopes Kin will forget the past and rekindle their love in the present. Through flashbacks, their youthful romance is explored, along with the details that led to the break-up, the biggest being a phone call Kin intercepted from a woman named Maya, who revealed her pregnancy after a one-night stand. Kin visited the woman who was unsure she was keeping her child. Though Maya wanted to tell her lover about it, she later tells Kin that she's changed her mind. This revelation, mixed with other signs of cheating had led to Kin breaking up with Than.

Years later, Maya revealed to Kin that she kept the child, Mawin, and is now battling illness while running her own business. Kin steps in, agreeing to help her by sharing custody of Mawin, who has always wanted a father in his life. Back in the present, Kin struggles around Than, knowing he's raising his ex-love's son that Than doesn't even know about. Back at the office, Don finds himself distracted due to an immediate spark with photographer Pond (Apisit Sangming). The two are unable to fight their attraction and get steamy, but Don is determined to keep things a secret, especially around Pond's co-workers. The ad agency team finds themselves spending time at the new gym, which is struggling to gain footing at their new location, putting more pressure on Nat, who grows upset at Than's focus being squarely on reuniting with Kin. Things are further complicated by Nat's secret crush on Than, which he knows is not reciprocated. Than puts it all on the line, begging Kin to admit he still loves him, but Kin is unable to tell him what he wants, especially as Than's questions about Mawin increase.

Don & Pond hit a rough patch over the status of their relationship and seem ready to make-up when Don is killed in a car accident, crushing Pond and leaving the ad agency team grieving. After learning of Pond's secret romance cut short, Kin is unable to avoid Than or his questions about their love. He takes Than to see Maya, only to learn that he's not her secret lover who fathered Mawin, leaving Kin stunned. They realize that the father was Than's deceased brother who had mistakenly used Than's phone when he was in contact with Maya. Than realizes that Mawin is his nephew and Kin realizes Than never cheated on him. At first, Maya lashes out, believing Kin was using Mawin to deal with his past relationship problems. She rejects Than's acknowledgment of Mawin's paternal family and keeps him from Kin as well. A talk with Mawin later causes her to change her mind and Kin helps Than explain Mawin's paternity to his family, including Nene who learns her schoolmate is actually her brother.

Now on the same page, Kin & Than rekindle their romance, only to have it cut short once again when Kin learns that his father has fallen ill, forcing him to leave town. With Mawin now settling in with Than's family, they keep in touch and agree to continue their love from afar until they can be reunited. Nat reveals his feelings for Than, along with the news that their gym is being forced to close due to lack of business. Than apologizes for not returning his feelings, but Nat assures him that they are still partners. Once Kin returns, it's not long before he and Than are headed for marriage. Their friends and family gather for the ceremony and celebration, which causes the still grieving Pond to imagine Don's presence there, allowing them a final dance. Kin & Than get their happy ending, confirming their enduring love.
