The UK romance A Night Like This focuses on one fateful holiday night that brings together two souls both requiring a better understanding of themselves, in the face of uncomfortable truths. Lukas (Jack Brett Anderson) is a disillusioned 30-something loner on the brink of ending his life when he shares an awkward first meeting with Oliver (Alexander Lincoln), a handsome, and seemingly privileged, guitar-toting nightclub owner looking for a drink as he faces bankruptcy. While drowning their respective sorrows, the two end up bonding and spend the night out together in London, leading them on a journey of deep decisions as they get to know one another better. The bandaged Lukas is quick to agitate, as he harbors secret trauma while Oliver introduces him to his brand of night life, which includes connections with found family. As their bond grows, the two ultimately prove that one night can indeed change everything, as Oliver goes out of his way to help Lukas see the value of his own life, despite Oliver's own hardships.
