Goddess Bless You From Death ⁞⁞ BL Spotlight

The drama Goddess Bless You From Death was a supernatural crime thriller that reunited the popular BL pairing of Krittin Kitjaruwannakul & Naret Promphaopun (Pit Babe). The series follows handsome inspector Singha (Promphaopun) as his team is charged with investigating the grizzly deaths of a group of people found hanging with their faces sewn up inside an abandoned building. While searching the crime scene, Singha comes across a terrified Thup (Kitjaruwannakul), screaming for mercy from an unseen force. Singha is able to free him from his terror, but Thup is quickly taken into custody in connection with the murders. Thup explains that a ghostly demon terrorized him, and he believes it is responsible for the deaths. Though, Singha doesn't believe in the supernatural, he finds himself drawn to Thup, believing him to be innocent of the crime. Thup's transition from suspect to witness, complicates matters for Singha even more when Thup refuses to leave Singha's side, citing him as a clear protection that keeps the evil spirits away.

As a result, Singha agrees to take Thup into his home, providing protection to his witness. Thup's supernatural senses begin to come in handy during the investigation, allowing Singha to uncover more clues behind the murder mystery. It also leads to questions from his superiors, leading him to receive a new supervisor, in the form of his former partner King (Phachara Thanakulwuttiporn), who returns to town to lead the investigation, opening old wounds for Singha, given their controversial history. When Thup learns they were also romantically linked, King's disdain for his growing closeness to Singha causes his suspicions to again fall on Thup for the crimes. None of this goes unnoticed by the forensics team of Darin (Supakorn Saokhor) and Singha's best friend Sey (Kiettisak Vatanavitsakul). The duo assists with the investigation, providing a medical perspective while also dealing with their own personal challenges, working together despite their previous romantic history.

With more deaths occurring around the city, Singha takes Thup's advice and begins exploring more spiritual connections while those involved with the investigation begin experiencing demonic encounters after interacting with broken figurines found at crime scenes. Sey attempts to start up something new with Buss (Gojin Jirawongtaworn), until Darin's jealousy becomes evident. Later, Darin's near-death experience with the spirit reignites his romance with Sey, while sparks fly between Singha & Thup as well. With the romances getting hot and heavy, the danger isn't far behind. Ultimately, King, Thup & Darin all find themselves taken hostage by the two possessed culprits. Singha charges in to rescue them, along with Sey. He is almost killed in the process, until Thup enacts a spiritual solution that saves his life. With everyone left to safely recover, romance fully blossoms for Singha & Thup, and Darin & Sey, with Singha also making peace with his past with King.
