Stop! That! Train! ⁞⁞ Movie Spotlight

From the production companies behind the hit reality competition series RuPaul's Drag Race came the railway parody Stop! That! Train!. The comedy followed downtrodden rail stewardesses Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee) who decide to infiltrate the luxury Glamazonian Hyper Speed Rail crew, looking to get their lucky break in the business, only to quickly fall victim to bullying from the veteran trio of stewardesses Amber (Brooke Lynn Hytes), Ayshleiygh (Symone), and Alli (Marcia Marcia Marcia). But when a massive storm hits, Tess & DeeDee find the perfect opportunity to step up and save the day, while keeping the eclectic group of eccentric passengers under control. Meanwhile, at the White House, the popular President Gagwell (RuPaul Charles) learns of the danger from her Press Secretary (Matt Rogers), bringing her past railway trauma to the forefront. 

As the situation grows more dangerous, the President's approval rating begins to drop and the public loses confidence in her leadership, thanks to a panic attack from questions about the potential train disaster. Back on the train, Tess finds herself gaining a foothold with the popular stewardesses while DeeDee does everything she can to help keep the train on the tracks, after the conductor falls ill, leaving the less experienced Cal (Brian Jordan Alvarez) in charge. DeeDee quickly develops a crush on Cal, sticking by his side, while they get assistance from the train traffic controller, Donna Dusk (Rachel Bloom). With only Donna taking the danger seriously in the office, and Cal falling off a cliff in an attempt to help stop the train, things look bleak. 

But President Gagwell leaves the White House behind and puts her past train knowledge to work, arriving aboard the train just as DeeDee & Tess mend their rift. The trio step up to bring the train safely to a stop, with Donna's help, before it can cause a major disaster for everyone onboard. In the end, DeeDee & Tess gain respect and notoriety for their bravery, DeeDee is reunited with Cal, and President Gagwell commissions a new railway task force. In addition to a slew of straight celebrities, the comedy featured cameos from queer actors like Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Drew Droege, Guy Branum, Jai Rodriguez and Daniel Franzese, in addition to Drag Race alums Latrice Royale, Monét X Change and Angeria Paris VanMichaels. Queer actor Brock Yurich also made a cameo as a member of the train's pit crew, in an homage to Drag Race. He was joined by the series' tenured pit crew members Bruno Carvalho & Bryce Eilenberg.
