The Boulet Brothers' Dragula - Season 7 ⁞⁞ Reality TV Spotlight

The Boulet Brothers are back with Season 7 of their drag horror competition series Dragula, just in time for Halloween. A cast of twelve drag artists arrived to a sepia-toned southern landscape, where The Boulets welcomed them to the new season where they will vie for the title of the next Drag Supermonster and a cash prize of $100,000. The Boulet Brothers revealed that the first week would take its inspiration from the classic world of the Oz franchise, with the monsters contending with tornado-like conditions in their initial immunity challenge, which saw Dvvsk claiming victory. The group would later learn in the premiere's climax that they would be casting votes for who they felt deserved extermination. For the first floor show of the season, the monsters were challenged to create monstrous characters drawing inspiration from any Oz books or movies, infusing them with horror elements. The Boulet Brothers were joined on the judges' panel by actress Rose McGowan and horror writer/director Darren Stein for Episode 1. In the end, Scythe scored the first floor show victory and Puruse became the first monster to be exterminated in Season 7. The reality competition series airs weekly on Shudder.
