The Holiday Shift ⁞⁞ Christmas 2023

The Roku original limited series, The Holiday Shift centers on a group of mall employees and their love stories that intersect at the mall during the holiday season. The comedy ensemble's characters include Deonte (played by Michael Delleva), a sassy clerk at the luggage store who has to contend with faulty products and his aversion to the holidays as he feels attacked by the outpouring of celebration inside the mall, notably represented by the mall Christmas Carolers. The first episode reveals his relationship with the older, married Alexander (played by Ward Massner), who quickly informs him that they won't have any holiday plans due to his family obligations. Deonte's annoyance fades when he locks eyes with Austin (played by Adam Fox), the hot new seasonal hire working at the mall's gift wrap kiosk. Deonte dumps Alexander and shifts his focus to securing Austin's love for Christmas. With a little spy help from his friends and some Christmas inspiration, he takes the plunge and makes his move. Austin is revealed to be interested in him as well, leading to a love connection. After coupling up, Austin joins Deonte's friend group as they work to solve the rest of their holiday problems before Christmas.
