Let's Talk About CHU ⁞⁞ Series Spotlight

The Taiwanese Netflix series Let's Talk About CHU centers on Ai, a young woman who spends her free time attempting to provide useful commentary on sex with the followers of her vlogs. Offline, however, her knowledge of the topic is revealed to be less than expert, as she has trouble connecting with men. She also has few role models in the area, as her family are all in the middle of their own romantic conflicts. This includes her gay older brother Yu-sen (played by J.C. Lin), whose relationship with his businessman boyfriend Henry (played by Chris Lung) has left him unfulfilled. He avoids his relationship issues by gambling, which sees him cross paths with Yueh (played by Wu Chien-Ho), a young criminal looking to utilize Henry's skills at card-playing to his advantage. Sparks soon fly between the two, drawing Henry into dangerous territory. Yu-sen & Yueh are heavily featured throughout the eight-episode series. The duo bond further when Yu-sen supports Yueh through his grandmother's illness and later death. While the relationship is at times tumultuous, their connection endures after Yu-sen breaks things off with Henry. In the end, Yueh's crimes catch up to him, but in the finale's epilogue, Yu-sen is shown still supporting his new love with a visit to him in prison.
