Good Trouble (5x13) ⁞⁞ Episode Spotlight

Episode 13 of the fifth and final season of the Freeform drama Good Trouble introduced a new recurring character, Jay (played by Zane Phillips). One of the series' main characters, the bisexual Gael (played by Tommy Martinez) looked to rent out extra space in his art studio. After several candidates proved to be incompatible with Gael's personality, he met Jay. Believing Jay would be a good fit, and interesting eye candy, Gael picked him to rent the extra space. Gael grew further intrigued when he noticed that Jay was using his time in the studio to nap and meditate, instead of working on art. After a few conversations, he learned that Jay was actually a doctor by trade, not an artist. He explained to Gael how he used art as a hobby to help him get through the stresses of his job. It wasn't just the sight of Jay that kept Gael distracted from his art. He confided in Jay about his current artistic block and Jay provided him some inspiration to head back out to the streets and express himself through his graffiti.
