The drama Our Son tells the story of busy
businessman Nicky (played by
Luke Evans) and his husband Gabriel (played by
Billy Porter), an artist who gave up his career to care for the couple's
now-eight-year-old son Owen. With his feelings of love waning in their
marriage, Gabriel asks for a divorce, causing a major rift, filled with emotion and anger for the couple. This leads to a custody battle, setting off an emotional whirlwind as they are forced to overcome broken hearts and navigate a new phase for their family. Led by strong performances from Evans & Porter, the supporting cast features out gay actors
