Kiseki in Tokyo: Chapter 2 ⁞⁞ BL Spotlight

Despite its title, Kiseki in Tokyo: Chapter 2 is not a continuation of Kiseki in Tokyo: Chapter 1. In fact, there is no previous Kiseki in Tokyo series. The recent BL drama from Thailand instead tells a wholly original story revolving around four young men who seemingly cross paths by fate, leading to an eye-opening week together that ends up challenging them all. Classified as a miniseries, Kiseki in Tokyo: Chapter 2 sets itself apart from other traditional BL dramas given its paired down cast, of only four actors, and it's more adult tone as the series features several scenes of male nudity. The series also presents the actors as playing dramatized versions of themselves, with no separate character names. It is one of the few BL dramas to feature actors who are related in real-life, having cast twins Pan Jirachot Chotticomporn & Plai Chattrin Chotticomporn for the series.

The story begins with P, a somewhat reserved young man living in Tokyo who is along for the ride with his best friend Beboy who is indulging in his affinity for photographing nature in the city. While out exploring, they become distracted by the sound of music playing in the park. This leads them to Pan and Plai, twin brothers serenading the park with their singing and guitar. While Beboy takes an almost-immediate interest in getting to know the pair, P is less enthusiastic. Ultimately, the four come together for some conversation. In getting to know each other, and the brothers plans for their stay in the city, they all come to an agreement that Pan & Plai can come stay with P, who was already hosting Beboy at his place.

The four become roommates and with drinks flowing, it isn't long before their close interactions are steered towards romance. Plai and Beboy share an awkward encounter in the bathroom after Beboy has trouble navigating the shower, causing him to scream out. Plai joins him to help him with the shower and both boys are soon without their clothes, leading to some embarrassment for the shy Beboy, whose discomfort with nudity would continue to plague him during the series, until the quartet's visit to a bathhouse finally liberates him. Meanwhile, P & Pan find themselves spending more time together one-on-one as well, thanks to trips out for food and when Pan offers him some guitar lessons, hormones take control, leading the two to get steamy, unaware that the same thing is happening between Beboy & Plai.

As the relationships between the couples continue to grow, so does the friendship of their quartet, as the series follows them throughout Tokyo, seeing the sites and taking in the landscapes of the beautiful city. But, it's not long before fate comes calling again and with future plans becoming more present, the boys are forced to make the decision of what to do next: do they choose to explore potential new love or keep on their original course by leaving Tokyo (and potential romance) behind?
