The Boulet Brothers' Dragula - Season 6 ⁞⁞ Reality TV Spotlight

The Boulet Brothers premiered Season 6 of their drag competition series Dragula, with a horror movie theme, just in time for the spooky season. A cast of twelve drag artists arrived to an abandoned movie theater, where Season 5 winner Niohuru X welcomed them to the new season where they will vie for the title of the next Drag Supermonster and a cash prize of $100,000. The Boulet Brothers revealed that the first week would not be without twists, as the monsters would have an opportunity to earn immunity from the first week's extermination. The group was also stunned in the premiere's climax when they learned they would be casting votes for who they felt deserved extermination. For the first floor show of the season, the monsters were challenged to re-imagine horror icons, infusing their looks with recognizable elements of horror while making it their own. The Boulet Brothers were joined on the judges' panel by Hellraiser's Jamie Clayton and horror screenwriter Akela Cooper for Episode 1. In the end, Asia Consent scored an early victory, Scylla escaped a bottom placement thanks to gaining immunity, and Severity Stone became the first monster to be exterminated. The series airs on Shudder and AMC+.
