Timmy's Takeout is the YouTube home of food critic and vlogger Timmy Alvarez. The gay content creator began his channel in 2010, producing queer-friendly comedy and pop culture content. His transition to more food-related content would ultimately lead to the current iteration of his channel, as Timmy vlogs his funny adventures critiquing the food offerings at restaurants, theme parks, stores, and hotels. Primarily focused in his home state of Florida, Timmy has branched out in recent years, trying various food challenges and testing out the food on trains and cruises. Timmy has also used his platform to highlight his struggle with a speech impediment, citing his decision to publicly perform in front of the camera as a helpful tool in battling his stutter. The channel has amassed over 1.5 million subscribers.
