Christmas at the Catnip Café ⁞⁞ Christmas 2025
The Hallmark original Christmas at the Catnip Café follows Olivia (Erin Cahill), a marketing executive, who learns that she's inherited her aunt's cat cafe business in New York, forcing her to leave her settled life to discover her aunt's legacy. While there, she discovers that her aunt co-owned the business with local veterinarian Ben (Paul Campbell). He tries to change Olivia's mind when she announces she wants to sell the business. He challenges her to help him with the annual holiday events for the cafe, in exchange for his signature on the sale, believing the holiday will alter her desire to sell. The film's queer content comes courtesy of out actor Ian Collins, who plays Frank, a longtime employee at the cafe. In addition to serving visitors, Frank is also shown to have a very special relationship with the cats being hosted at the cafe, as they hope to place them in new homes by Christmas. Frank is cold to Olivia at first, after overhearing her and Ben talk about her desire to sell, but he warms to Olivia as they spend more time together in the cafe. Olivia comes to realize that the cafe is as much Frank's, as it is hers. Frank swoops in with other locals to help Olivia & Ben put together the big Christmas party finale. In the end, Olivia does change her mind, deciding to carry on her aunt's legacy while finding new love in Ben.
