Departing Seniors ⁞⁞ Halloween 2024

The teen slasher Departing Seniors centers on Javier (Ignacio Diaz-Silverio), a witty student looking to survive his final week of high school when a masked killer starts targeting his biggest tormentors. After taking a spill down a flight of stairs while evading the bullies, Javi develops a psychic ability, allowing him to see into the lives of anyone he touches, or any object they have touched. Javi is aided by his wise-cracking slacker best friend Bianca (Ireon Roach), while getting advice and support from his teacher, Mr. Arda (Yani Gellman). Just as Javi strikes up a new flirtation with drama club student William (Ryan Foreman), it increases his torment at the hands of school jocks Trevor & Brad (Sasha Kuznetsov), and Trevor's snobby girlfriend Ginny (Maisie Merlock). Brad's obsession stems from his secret romance with Javi, who has grown tired of his bullying used to hide his closeted homosexuality. After Brad is killed by the killer, Javi & Bianca set out to figure out the killer's identity and stop them. 

After Trevor (Cameron Scott Roberts) falls victim to the killer as well, all clues begin pointing to William, including the killer mask. Bianca confronts him, while Javi looks to save Ginny. The confrontation causes Bianca to realize William is not the killer and they rush to help Javi, leading to a climax in the auditorium after Mr. Arda is revealed to be the killer, having faced his own harsh bullying in high school. He believes he and Javi are the same, and he urges him to let him take care of the last of his tormentors. Javi, however, tries to protect Ginny, leading Arda to turn on him. William intervenes, getting stabbed in the process, while Bianca & Ginny swoop in to stop the killer, as Javi deals with the fallout, blaming himself because of Arda's confession. The film ends with Bianca consoling Javi, who manages to end his final day of high school with a kiss from the surviving William.
