And Just Like That... (3x10) ⁞⁞ Episode Spotlight

Episode 10 of the third season of the MAX original Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That... featured a side plot for supporting gay character Anthony (Mario Cantone), advancing his ongoing romance with the younger Italian poet Giuseppe (Sebastiano Pigazzi). The two began the episode steaming up the bedroom until their sexual romp was interrupted by a knock at the door of Anthony's apartment. He angrily left the bedroom behind only to find a fireman at the door. He then revealed to Giuseppe that they had to vacate because of a gas leak. When Giuseppe offered to take Anthony to his apartment, Anthony wasn't happy with the prospect of being around a gang of young roommates. Giuseppe then revealed that he only had one roommate, who worked nights. Anthony took him up on the offer. The two were awakened the next morning by Giuseppe's roommate Andrew (Jeff Burchfield), shocking Anthony in multiple ways. The man entered the room to show off a marionette he had created which happened to look exactly like Giuseppe. 

After apologizing for barging in on the two, the older man made his exit. Anthony then freaked out, asking several questions about the older man's identity. Giuseppe explained how they had met and connected through their art, becoming roommates. He assured Anthony that Andrew was harmless, but Anthony expressed a lack of trust in the man, given his age, believing he had to be obsessed with Giuseppe, given the fact that his puppet looks exactly like him. Giuseppe revealed that Andrew was asexual, explaining to Anthony that it meant he wasn't attracted to him. He also explained to him that he had become a muse for Andrew's woodwork. Unable to get the interaction out of his head, Anthony later suggested that the two of them move in together. Giuseppe appreciated the offer, but worried about moving too fast in their relationship. Then he walked away to the bathroom, passing his apartment's kitchen where he spied Andrew masturbating while staring at the puppet. The stunned Giuseppe returned to the bedroom, revealing he had changed his mind and wants to move in with Anthony, making him very happy.  

It was announced this week that the series will end with the third season.
