JonnyCakes ⁞⁞ YouTube Spotlight
As we prepare to enjoy meals with family and friends, it's the perfect time to spotlight the popular YouTube channel JonnyCakes. It is the YouTube home of cooking influencer Jonny Manganello, who began uploading videos of his various cooking adventures and challenges in 2023. Since then, the channel has amassed over 1.39 million subscribers with 544 videos that have garnered over 676 million views. Jonny's content ranges from taste tests, to ranking videos, where he samples the food and fare from various stores and bakeries. Jonny has also not been shy about showing off his own cooking talents, with challenge videos where he recreates viral internet creations or cooks multi-course meals using only an Easy-Bake oven. The channel also features food travel vlogs and various videos highlighting his specialty of making hyper realistic cakes that look nothing like cake. Jonny's boyfriend Stephen Laconte also features in a number of his videos, including a recent baking challenge pitting the professional Jonny against the non-baker Stephen, playfully known as "Cake Twink."
